Hello there.

I'm Megan! I'm sixteen years young and I'm in Honors American Literature at a highschool in Colorado. I absolutely hate being serious all the time. Nothing is more boring than taking everything literally and just adding your own, bland input into it. You have to add some pizazz, let your personality shine, show the world exactly who you are. You're not just like everyone else, let them see that. No one wants to be just another brick in the wall. I believe if anyone doesn't like this idea, it's their problem, not mine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm not going to change mine just because someone doesn't like it. This is how I live my life, enjoying every minute of it.

I believe you're loved for the person you are. You shouldn't be loved for someone you're not, otherwise nothing is real and everything is complete malarky. If you want to be true to yourself, just be yourself. Everyone who is meant to will love you for it. What do I mean by saying everyone who is meant to? Well, everything happens for a reason. I am a firm believer in that. Everything that happens in the world around us has a meaning, there is some lesson needed to be learned from every experience that occurs in your life. Sometimes that lesson isn't so easily uncovered, though. That's when we have to look into our dreams for the answer. I find dreams very intriguing. They tell us about our innocent wants and our subconscious thoughts. I find great relief when I analyze my dreams to figure out what is going on in my mind. I am very much a metaphysical thinker and I take pride in that. I think about thinking, about everything that goes on around us just started with one, single thought. The clothes you are wearing were once just a thought in someone's mind, you're reading this because you had a single thought about reading this a moment ago. This may not make much sense to you, but it's the only way I can explain it. Also, if you put a thought in your head, your mind is powerful enough to go through with that, explained in the quote below by theosophist Dr. Annie Besant.

“(We) fix the normal vibration-rate of our minds. Thoughts which do not harmonize with that rate will be flung aside when they touch the mind. If (we) think truth, a lie cannot lodge itself in (our) mind; if we think love, hate cannot disturb us; if we think wisdom, ignorance cannot paralyze us. Here alone is safety and power. The mind must not be allowed to vibrate as it pleases, because that means it will answer to any passing vibration.”
- Dr. Annie Besant, Theosophist

I am also a strong believer in the power of love. I believe that once love is found, nothing can stop it. This kind of love is absolute and pure. Nothing can get in the way of this kind of love, not even death. Anyone who has embraced the power of love would do absolutely anything to preserve that love and the one they love. I also believe this kind of love is inevitable. Everyone has someone who will completely love them, they just need to be found. It may show that I'm an optimist, or that I will be disappointed if it isn't true, but frankly, I don't care. I'm very stubborn that way. I'll think the way I want to think, about things that I want to think about. I mean, sure people die completely alone all the time, right? Well I think those people were lazy. They had their whole lives to look for that one that will love them unequivocally. Or maybe they wanted to die alone. That is also a possibility. Everyone's life goes the way they want it to.

Mostly what I want to focus on, however, is that nothing can stop the power of love.
